Getting there

By air:

From Shannon Airport:

Shannon serves a variety of international destinations including direct flights from the UK, USA and continental Europe.

Bus Eireann operate an hourly coach service direct from Shannon Airport to Galway Bus Station (5 minutes walk to the Radisson Blu). Buses depart Shannon Airport at 55 minutes past the hour from 07:55 to 20:55 at a cost of €22 return.

From Knock:

You can get the Shuttle Bus Service BusAer which operates eight times a day between the Ireland West Airport Knock and Charlestown. From Charlestown you can connect with Bus Éireann's long distance Expressway services to Galway.

From Dublin:

You can get the Dublin/Galway train from Heuston Station Dublin straight to Ceannt Station Galway. There are also regular bus services throughout the day that go from Dublin to Galway in around 3 hours.

Accommodation

PokerStars qualifiers will be staying at the luxurious Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa but Galway also boasts a wide variety of other hotels from deluxe through standard to bed and breakfast style accommodation.
