Following the success of last season, Season 5 of the PokerStars UK and Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) begins in London, before a huge big-money stop at Dusk Till Dawn Casino in Nottingham. The tour then sets sail across The Channel for a week in the sun at the PokerStars Marbella Festival, before making waves at some of the UK’s top poker destinations, including Bristol, Isle of Man and Edinburgh and Dublin. As with Season 4, many events will be broadcast via PokerStars.tv, so don’t miss the action.
Season 4 of the UK & Ireland’s biggest and best live poker tour was a record-breaker on many fronts. From the two-week Galway festival, to the tour-best £1,696,990 prize pool in Nottingham (including the mammoth £1,223,000 Main Event), it was a season packed full of memorable moments. The tour also broke new ground with a visit to Marbella in Spain, as well as the introduction of new UKIPT Series events, which bring the unique UKIPT tournament experience to players with smaller bankrolls. A total of nine stops made up the third season of the hugely successful UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT). The schedule took in some of the region's most prestigious poker destinations including the first Bristol UKIPT, Online UKIPT and the first dedicated Grand Final held in London. All tournaments attracted the huge player fields we've come to expect from the UK & Ireland's biggest and most popular poker tour, including a record-breaking 1,625 players at the Nottingham event.
PokerStars UK & Ireland Poker Tour – gained huge popularity in its inaugural season and returned for Season 2 with a 2011 circuit spanning the islands. Each of the nine stops had a guaranteed six-figure prize pool and there were record-breaking turnouts – the Nottingham leg held at Dusk Till Dawn gathered the largest live field ever seen in the UK (1,058) and awarded champion Gareth Walker a top prize of £109,000.
